This is an old French postcard of a young woman whose name has long been lost to the passage of time. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, thousands of risque postcards were produced in the city of Paris, France and eventually made their way throughout Europe and the United States. Many of the young ladies depicted on these postcards were cabaret dancers, models, and, often, “ladies of the night.”.Tumblr is now their paradise .This postcard is from 1899
